Netflix released a trailer for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always which confirms the official release date of the upcoming movie to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise and here, they remind everyone that the viewers are always Rangers, too.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always will be coming out on April 19, 2023 globally on Netflix. This is also confirmed by the official Power Rangers Twitter page.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Movie?
The Power Rangers are teaming up again in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always with Walter Jones as Zack Taylor, the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger I; David Yost as Billy Cranston, the Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger; and Steve Cardenas as Rocky DeSantos, the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger.
They will be joined by Catherine Sutherland as Katherine "Kat" Hillard, the Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger; Johnny Yong Bosch as Adam Park, the second Black Ranger; Karan Ashley as Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Ranger; Charlie Kersh as Minh Kwan, and Barbara Goodson as Rita Repulsa.
Voicing Alpha 5 is Richard Steven Horvitz. Seen in a picture appearing on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger, Trini Kwan, played by the late Thuy Trang.
Unfortunately, Austin St. John cannot return as Jason Lee Scott for being arrested in May 2022 and since he was on probation, he cannot do the filming. Amy Jo Johnson who played Kimberly Ann Hart declined to return for unknown reasons.
Amy Jo Johnson broke her silence on Twitter for not reprising her role saying, "Please stop saying I didn’t do reunion because of money Simply not true. Maybe I just didn’t want to wear spandex in my 50s or couldn’t go to NZ for a month."
Johnson added, "None of ur beeswax JDF & I both chose not to for our own reasons. They filmed before he passed. #PowerRangers"

Hasbro developed the movie for the 30th anniversary special of the Power Rangers as they secured the rights over the title to be released on Netflix. In 2022, it was confirmed to be titled as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always.
In the same year, the actors who would return to reprise their roles are also revealed. The title of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always comes from the phrase that they always say, "Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger." This reminds the viewers, also, that they are always part of the Ranger family.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is directed by Charlie Haskell, written by both Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale, and music is composed by Ron Wasserman. Also part of the production team are Simon Bennett and Akihiro Noguchi.
Three stunt actors are also revealed with Kohei Matsuoka for the Red Ranger, Momoka Takasaki for the Pink Ranger, and Akira Nakanishi for Minh Kwan.

"Thirty years after the wise and powerful Zordon formed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the team comes face to face with a familiar threat from the past.
In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs. This 30th Anniversary Special is inspired by the legendary mantra from the franchise 'Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger,' meaning once you become part of the Ranger family, you are always welcome back."
The upcoming special, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, will be the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the whole Power Rangers franchise and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers which is developed by Hasbro under Netflix.
The heroes will be needed again in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always as a familiar threat resurfaces in the middle of a global crisis. Here, they would have to travel back in time and stop Rita Repulsa from changing history.
