Ever since the Netflix special was announced last year, fans have been waiting with baited breath for an official trailer. While a brief behind-the-scenes featurette appeared to quench our thirst, all it really did was whet our appetite!

Now, a trailer has finally premiered online, and fans of Power Rangers can rejoice, because if you're looking for an anniversary special that's bursting at the seams with Easter eggs and oozing nostalgia, you won't be disappointed.

It remains to be seen how the absence of Jason David Frank will be handled. The beloved actor and face of the Power Rangers franchise tragically passed away last year, however, it seems that he wasn't involved in the project.

With that said, the featurette does show the Green Ranger. Whether or not this is Tommy Oliver remains to be seen, although some fans believe it's "flashback" footage. Either way, JDF will be sorely missed in this reunion special.

Check out the brand-new trailer for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always below:

Boy is it great to see legacy actors David Yost, Walter Jones, Catherine Sutherland, Steve Cardenas, Karan Ashley, and Johnny Yong Bosch, who are reprising their roles as Power Rangers Billy Cranston, Zack Taylor, Jason Scott, Katherine Hillard, Rocky DeSantos, Aisha Campbell, and Adam Park.

And then of course there's Alpha 5 (Richard Horvitz), the Command Center, the Zords, and the Mighty Megazord, which has been given an awesome sleek new look! And we mustn't forget the villains - this time, Rita Repulsa (Barbara Goodson) has also been given a makeover, as Robo Rita!

But the biggest takeaway from the trailer is newcomer Charlie Kersh, who plays Minh, the daughter of Trini Kwan, who was played by Yellow Ranger Thuy Trang, who died in a car crash in 2001.

As the trailer seems to suggest, Rita kills Trini, and her daughter Minh steps up to join the Power Rangers to get revenge.

It's unclear as to whether Once and Always is a reboot, as it appears to retcon elements of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) and even the show itself. But to tell you the truth, this looks so awesome that we don't care!
