Meghan Markle reportedly has not been seen in public since the release of Prince Harry's memoir Spare. Her absence from the limelight led some royal experts to assume that she has been MIA. However, it has now been revealed that the Duchess of Sussex just wants to give Prince Harry his much-deserved moment of fam following the release of his book.

Meghan Markle Busy Working On New Projects While Prince Harry Promotes Spare?

According to Us Weekly, Meghan Markle has been spending most of her days with Archie and Lilibet in Montecito. She is also busy working on upcoming projects and some have not yet been announced.

"Meghan has been keeping her head down in Montecito, taking care of the kids and working on projects that are coming up in the months ahead. [She is] happy to let Harry take center stage," the source said.

Prince Harry, on the other hand, is still travelling to promote Spare. But after every interview, he reportedly goes home to be with his wife and kids.

"He's flying all over the place to promote Spare but most of the time he's returning home to Montecito and not staying out of town very often because he wants to be with the kids," the source said.

Meghan Markle Distanced Herself From Prince Harry's Memoir To Avoid Backlash?

GB News host Dan Wootton also claimed that Markle may have been distancing herself from the collateral PR damage caused by Spare, according to Yahoo! News.

And while speaking with Fox News, royal author Christopher Andersen said that he's not surprised that Markle is nowhere to be found following her husband's memoir's release.

"Meghan clearly doesn't want to make it look as if she's somehow manipulating Harry, or that she's had a hand in shaping his memoirs. The Sussexes are very sensitive to the fact that their critics believe she has some mesmeric sway over him. The fact is, this is Harry's story, and for better or worse he has to own it," he said.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Dealing With Backlash Following Duke's Claims About Killing 25 People In Combat?

Andersen also said that Prince Harry and Markle may have been concerned by the reaction that they got from the people in the military. The Duke of Sussex was accused of bragging about killing 25 people in combat. However, he later explained that his words were just taken out of context.

"What may be most concerning to both Harry and Meghan is the blowback they've gotten from people in the military who feel he was ill-advised to write about killing 25 enemy combatants while serving in Afghanistan. I can't imagine if they'd had it to do over, that Meghan, in particular, would just as soon have had him leave those kinds of statistics out of the book," he said.
