Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a team. Not only are they happily married to each other, but they also support each other's endeavors no matter what. In fact, the couple stood by each other's side amid all the criticisms being thrown their way.
Before the couple got engaged in 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly had a serious conversation about what the future holds for them. At the time, the Duchess of Sussex was still starring in the hit series Suits. But as a future member of the royal family, she wasn't allowed to stay on the show for another season.
Meghan Markle Has No Regrets For Quitting Suits After Getting Engaged To Prince Harry?
During their engagement interview, Markle was asked what it felt like to quit the craft that she loved so much for Prince Harry. She explained that even before their engagement, she already felt that she gave Suits her all after appearing in it for over 100 episodes.
The Duchess of Sussex also said that leaving the show only meant opening new doors for her as a member of the royal family.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Had A Frank Conversation About Their Royal Duties?
At the time, Prince Harry revealed that he still needed to sit down and talk to his wife regarding what it really means to be a senior working royal. After all, the job at hand is challenging for anybody.
But at the end of the day, the Duke of Sussex said that no matter what he and Markle choose to do, they will always be a team.
"We still have to sit down and I still, you know, I still have to have some pretty frank conversations with her to say you know what you're letting yourself in for, it is a big thing, it's a big deal and it's you know it's not easy for anybody. But I know that at the end of the day, she chooses me and I choose her. And therefore you know whatever we have to tackle together or individually, will always be us together as a tea. So, I think, I think she's capable. She's capable of anything. And together as I said there's a hell of a lot of stuff, work that needs doing," Prince Harry said (via Mirror UK).
While it is true that Markle is capable of doing anything, her time as a senior working royal was short-lived. After just four years, she and Prince Harry decided to quit their duties after failing to reach a resolution with the royal family.
Meghan Markle Says She Has No Plans To Return To Acting?
But despite Markle's decision to leave The Firm, she didn't have any regrets about leaving Suits either. In fact, the mom of two said that she doesn't have any plans to return to acting anytime soon.
"No. I'm done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not," Markle said when asked if she has plans to return to acting.
The Duchess of Sussex also said that so much has changed in the entertainment industry since she quit Suits in 2018.
"I left Suits right after the 100th episode in 2018. I didn't think I'd ever be in the entertainment industry again. But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things. The ability to create zeitgeist moments as we had in the '90s — where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment? — that doesn't happen anymore…" she said (via Newsweek).
