Marvel’s Wonder Man Episode Count Reportedly Revealed To Be The Longest Disney+ Series


Aquaman’s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is set to debut in the MCU as Simon Williams a.k.a. The titular hero in Marvel’s Wonder Man, and although Marvel Studios is currently reevaluating their upcoming 2023-2024 projects, reliable scooper DanielRPK reveals the episode count for the series.

Generally, Disney+ series such as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel ran for a total of six episodes, with She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, What If…? and WandaVision consisting of nine, which had been the longest episode count that a Disney+ series would have.

According to the report, Marvel’s Wonder Man episode count is set to comprise of ten individual episodes. Seeing as there are no officially announced runtime yet for each episode yet, the ten-episode series, should this be guaranteed in the near future upon its airing, Wonder Man will become the longest-running Disney+ series.

Although plot details for Wonder Man are still being kept under wraps, as per Marvel Studios’ in keeping a low profile on their future projects, the Marvel series is currently casting Simon’s female co-star for the show, with a teaser that indicates the protagonist will be “starring in a show during the series” in which the female co-star will also star in alongside Wonder Man.

Wonder Man will also be featuring Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery’s return. Slattery was first introduced in Iron Man 3 as a ‘fake’ Mandarin and later on, in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, where he was broken out of prison by the Ten Rings organization as he was kidnapped by the ‘real’ Mandarin.

Meanwhile, Courteney Cox and Bob Odenkirk have yet to confirm their roles in Wonder Man.

Marvel’s Wonder Man release window was reportedly revealed to come within 2023-2024, which would mean the Disney+ series will potentially air as early as late 2023 or in early 2024. However, no official announcements have confirmed the concrete release date for the series for now.
