Details remain under the shadows for Marvel's Wonder Man other than it being under development for a Disney Plus series. Now, a report from Variety reveals the first role that will be joining the show and he is a familiar face in the MCU, it is Ben Kingsley's Trevor Slattery.

Ben Kingsley's Trevor Slattery first appeared on Iron Man 3 where he posed as the Mandarin in the film and turned out to be an actor playing the part. He got his own short, Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King, where he was in prison.

Then, he came back in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings where the real Mandarin showed up. There, Trevor Slattery was found by Shang-Chi, Xialing, and Katy in what seems like a dungeon at Wenwu's with his pet, Morris, a Dijiang.

He helped the three to escape and trained as a warrior in Ying Li's village as they prepared to face the Mandarin/ Wenwu and unfortunately, the Dweller-in-Darkness which Wenwu set free. Being the actor that he is, Slattery played dead and yet again, fooled the others.

Now, he'll be the first one to join the cast of Marvel's Wonder Man. The series is revealed to be in the works with the director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Destin Daniel Cretton.

Simon Williams a.k.a. Wonder Man was supposedly part of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with Nathan Fillion playing the part but his scene was cut off from the James Gunn film.

Marvel's Wonder Man is still under development and has no release date yet.
