Magic: The Gathering Head Designer Explains Why He Didn't Post Anything on His Blogatog For 24 Hours

In an extremely rare occurance, Magic: The Gathering head designer Mark Rosewater didn't post anything on his Blogatog yesterday. Rosewater usually spends his free time responding to fan questions or sharing his thoughts about Magic on his Blogatog everyday, so it was unusual to see him not post anything for that long. Today, he broke the silence and explained why.

"When a lot of people have things to say, I tend to use the day to do a lot of reading," Rosewater wrote on his Blogatog. "A big part of two-way communication is listening."

Many fans on social media believed that his silence was caused by the complaints about the newly-announced crossover Magic product called Secret Lair x The Walking Dead. Last Monday, Rosewater responded to the complaints about the new cards featuring The Walking Dead characters being black-bordered and legal in Eternal formats. Rosewater must be absolutely innundated by these complaints, but it's good to know that he's fine, and that he's been listening to what fans have to say.
