The Emmy Award-nominated animated series of the franchise is coming back with the anthology of nine shorts to arrive on May the Fourth and tp continue to hype up the fans waiting for it, a new stunning trailer has been unveiled by Lucasfilm for Star Wars: Visions Volume 2!
During the panel of Star Wars: Visions at the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, the trailer for Volume 2 has been released for the anthology series of nine shorts featuring the distinct animation styles of each version of the Star Wars universe from different parts of the globe!
The trailer of Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 features nine shorts from the following animation studios: El Guiri from Spain, Cartoon Saloon From Ireland, Studio Mir from South Korea, 88 Pictures from India, Studio La Cachette from France, and Punkrobot from Chile.
Other works featured are from Aardman from United Kingdom, Triggerfish from South Africa, and D'art Shtajio from Japan which is done in collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd. from United States.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 boasts the shorts from these animation studios with their very own versions of the franchise bringing in unique stories for the galaxy far, far away, the perfect way to envision the Star Wars universe in their perspectives.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 executive producer and Lucasfilm senior vice president for Franchise Content and Strategy James Waugh revealed at the event, "The reaction to the first volume of Star Wars: Visions blew us away."
Waugh added, "We were delighted that this project inspired and resonated with so many people. We always saw Star Wars: Visions as a framework for celebratory expressions of the franchise from some of the best creators working today."

In connection to Volume 1, Waugh explained, "Animation is in a global renaissance, and we're constantly staggered by the amount of creativity pushing the medium forward. With Volume 1, the imaginative minds of Japan's anime industry were on full display."
As regards Volume 2, Waugh said, "With Volume 2, we expanded our canvas to take audiences on a global tour of some of the most talented creators from around the world. We're so proud to be able to reveal the line-up of studios we've assembled."
"Every short is incredible, full of heart, scope, imagination, and the values that make stories distinctly Star Wars – all while opening up bold new ways of seeing what a Star Wars story can be," Waugh concluded.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 will be coming out on the perfect date for every Star Wars fan across the globe to enjoy the lore of the franchise as it will be coming out on Star Wars Day, May 4th, 2023, and it will be releasing exclusively on Disney Plus.
Star Wars: Visions Volume 1 is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.
