The 2023 edition of the Star Wars Celebration which emanated from London was home to several surprises and announcements, and one of the biggest bombshells the spectacle dropped is the return of Daisy Ridley to the franchise, four years after the conclusion of the Skywalker saga.

While it's been rumored for quite some time now, the actress has constantly denied any involvement in future Star Wars projects, although she did express her interest in potentially reprising her role as Rey Skywalker. Ridley will lead Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy's upcoming film which takes place 15 years after The Rise of Skywalker and will see Rey establish her own Jedi Academy.

Hot on the heels of Daisy's comeback, a new report from The Den of Nerds claims that another familiar face from the sequels will also return. The insider reports that Lucasfilm has plans of bringing Adam Driver's Kylo Ren back to life, and it's something the production company has allegedly been discussing even before the Star Wars Celebration announcement about "Episode X" was made.

Taking to Twitter, he said: "I have heard the plan is to bring Adam Driver's Ben back to life somehow... Heard this a while back, but just had it confirmed this is still the plan".

As much as I'm stoked to see Ben Solo's return, I'd rather see him become a Force Ghost than be brought back to life simply because it cheapens his heroic sacrifice in Episode IX. On the other hand though, his potential resurrection is much easier to explain because Kylor didn't exactly die in a "traditional" way compared to other characters.

Daisy Ridley's next Star Wars film is expected to release sometime in 2025.
