Star Wars: Visions Season 2 Officially Announced for 2023


We're getting more amazing animation set in the Star Wars Universe! Star Wars: Visions Season 2 has just been confirmed and the anthology series will be back with new episodes next year!

The announcement was made at Star Wars Celebration, which is currently on Day 4. Although the official release date was not yet shared, it has been confirmed that Volume 2 will premiere on Disney+ in Spring 2023.

We don't have all the details yet but there is a possibility that Star Wars: Visions Season 2 will consist of nine new episodes but we're hoping that it will be much more. In addition to that, it is still unclear if Star Wars will tap the same studios to work on the new tales. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The first season of Star Wars: Visions consist of nine episodes that were produced by anime studios Kamikaze Douga, Studio Colorido, Geno Studio, Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G, and Science SARU. Each episode presented a unique story set in the Star Wars Universe.

Some of the episodes of Visions are also getting manga adaptations on Big Gangan. The Elder character designer Kamome Shirahama will illustrate the episode's adaptation for the magazine's June issue. Haruichi's adaptation of Lop and Ocho will be featured in the July issue while Yusuke Osawa will draw the adaptation of The Ninth Jedi in the August issue. Keisuke Sato has also been confirmed to work on the adaptation of The Twins in the September issue of Big Gangan.

For now, Star Wars: Visions Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. In addition to that, the episode count and participating studios have not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
