The God of Mischief is returning with the Time Variance Authority in Loki Season 2, premiering this October on Disney+.

Along with the comeback of the iconic MCU anti-hero in his solo series is General Mills releasing their limited Loki Charms cereal box to promote the show. Here’s all you need to know about the God of Mischief’s very own cereal!

What are ‘Loki Charms’ and Where to Purchase?

When Marvel Studios was advertising the first season of Loki back in 2021, only 3,500 boxes were released during the promotion.

Considering that hardcore MCU Loki fans would want to grab ahold of their very own merchandise, it was instantly sold out before others could get their own. Luckily (no pun intended), MCU fans get a second chance at snatching their own copy!

Now, with Loki Season 2 releasing on October 6, Friday at at 6 P.M. PT/9 A.M. EST, General Mills has once again partnered up with Marvel Studios to promote retro-looking, limited-edition novelty boxes with the God of Mischief.

Pretty similar to how the official Lucky Charms cereal promoted the cereal, we get to see the leprechaun ‘time travel’ to the present, directly referencing the Time Variance Authority’s control over the Sacred Timeline.

However, there’s a catch here. The Judge on the stand in the TVA caught Loki red-handedly mimicking Lucky the Leprechaun trying to steal the cereal box away himself!

Showcasing one of Loki Laufeyson's powers for trickery and deceit, he purposely traveled to the past and ended up getting caught by the TVA, which is ironically the story behind the Loki series. You can check out the full ad below:

To grab yours now, the cereal box will be available to order on the Walmart website on October 6 at 11:30 a.m. PT. Each box will be sold at $7.96, which is a lot higher price compared to the regular 18.6-oz box of Lucky Charms costing about $4.93.

It is worth mentioning that this edition comes with two covers: one that has Lucky the Leprechaun enjoying his cereal and the other having Loki on display with his powers.

Loki Season 2 marks the return of the God of Mischief with a new crisis to solve. Thankfully, he won't be alone on this journey as Owen Wilson's Mobius will be joining him in resolving the matters of the TVA.

While the first season set up the big bad of the MCU, the Kang the Conqueror variant, Victor Timely, is not the only highly anticipated role to watch debut on the small screens.

According to Loki's executive producer Kevin Wright, Loki Season 2 also set another record amongst MCU TV shows. Apparently, the upcoming season is the first MCU series to not have any reshoots (in spite of Jonathan Majors' controversy).

Not to mention, the MCU producer had even teased the possibility of the sun shining on Loki and Thor reuniting once again. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, it would be interesting to see how this Loki variant would get along with the main timeline Thor, given his history with the deceased Loki.
