A recent report has claimed that the characters from Loki will have major roles in the upcoming Avengers movies.
Fans have been anticipating more news regarding the upcoming MCU team-up movies since it is expected to feature a crossover of all the heroes in the Multiverse Saga and potentially the other characters in non-MCU movies as well.
So far, Marvel Studios remains mum on their plans for the next two Avengers installments, but it was reported recently that Avengers 5 is expected to bring back more than 60 MCU characters.
Loki and Sylvie Reportedly Have Major Roles in Avengers 5 and Secret Wars
According to a recent insider scoop, Loki and Sylvie are expected to have major roles in the upcoming Avengers movies.
It is unknown yet how big the roles will the two Loki characters have in the team-up films, but they are being eyed as key players in the ensemble.
So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the claims that were made in the report.
Considering that Loki and Sylvie are characters that are connected to the multiverse, it's not surprising to hear that they are going to be involved in Avengers 5 and Secret Wars.
In the case of Loki, he has become the guardian of the multiverse by the end of the second season and that could pave the way for him to become part of the story of both films.
If they both end up appearing in the upcoming films, a lot of fans would definitely be happy given how beloved the TV series was and there were hopes before that the characters would make their way to the big screen.
The development of Avengers 5 is still ongoing as Marvel Studios is eyeing to begin production by next year. There is no director attached yet to the project, but Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy is the current top choice for the job.
Avengers 5 is slated for release in theaters on May 1, 2026.
