Avengers: Secret Wars Release Date: When Will the Marvel Movie Come Out?
Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2026 following the reschedule of the movies on the MCU slate after the delay in the production of Marvel's Blade.
It will be going back-to-back with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty which will retain its original release date.
However, rumor has it that the whole slate of the MCU will be pushing back its releases.
Still, while there is no confirmation yet whether this is true, let's all hold on to the May 1, 2026 release.
Closing MCU Phase Six, as announced by Kevin Feige during the San Diego Comic-Con, Avengers: Secret Wars will be happening immediately after Avengers: The Kang Dynasty with the heroes dealing with how tricky the multiverse is.
Fans of the comic books are worried that Secret Wars may be too soon to happen given that Phase Four is already ending and Phase Five and Six may be too short a time to prepare for the highly anticipated movie.
Avengers: Secret Wars Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Marvel Movie?
Looking at the list of those involved in the Avengers: Secret Wars story in the comics, it will be the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Hulk, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Molecule Man, Kang the Conqueror, Enchantress, Galactus, the Beyonder, and the Wrecking Crew.
The X-Men are not yet introduced by the time Avengers: Secret Wars would happen so it may be a great movie where they can debut.
For the Fantastic Four, there are still no cast members yet for Marvel's first family. Kang the Conqueror is still involved which means Jonathan Majors will be in the movie.
However, talking to Entertainment Weekly while promoting She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Mark Ruffalo seemingly confirmed Hulk being on Avengers: Secret Wars saying, "It’ll be a big bang, we’ll go out with a big bang."

Avengers: Secret Wars Crew: Who are the Creative Minds Behind the Scenes?
Avengers: Secret Wars is based on a twelve-issue comic book crossover which is a limited series from 1984 to 1985. It was penned by Jim Shooter and illustrated by Bob Layton and Mike Zeck.
In a report from Deadline, Avengers: Secret Wars just landed its scriptwriter with a familiar name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Michael Waldron will be writing the upcoming film. Waldron is known to pen Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Avengers: Secret Wars has no director yet. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will be distributing the movie and it will be produced by Kevin Feige. There is no production date yet for Avengers: Secret Wars.
Avengers: Secret Wars Plot: What Will be the Plot of the Movie?
There is no official plot yet for Avengers: Secret Wars but it is expected to follow the comic book material it is based on. It will be out immediately after the events of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and will be picking up with the "Battleworld" to be set up by the prequel.
In the comics, Avengers: Secret Wars rooted with the Beyonder who observes the sacred timeline of the Marvel Universe and since he was amazed by how the superheroes act on Earth, he picked up heroes and villains to be teleported into the Battleworld even against their will.
The Battleworld was full of weapons as the Beyonder personally ensured that there would be enough for the heroes and villains to battle it out. The Beyonder chose the following Avengers: Captain America, Thor, She-Hulk, Hulk, the Wasp, Hawkeye, and Iron Man.
With the Avengers are Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, and the Thing from the Fantastic Four; Spider-Man and Spider-Woman; and Professor X, Rogue, Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Lockheed the Dragon from the X-Men.
It turns out, Deadpool was also included as one of the heroes chosen by the Beyonder and it is revealed in Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars that the Wasp was to blame because the other forgot about him when the Wasp accidentally did a mind wipe.
The villains are terrifying: Kang the Conqueror, Doctor Doom, Absorbing Man, Doc Ock, Enchantress, Klaw, Lizard, Molecule Man, Ultron, Volcana, Titania, and the Wrecking Crew. Galactus also paid his co-villains a visit.
In the Battleworld, each of them face their own personal challenge as they face the villains. Of course, the Beyonder sees to it that he would enjoy watching the heroes and villains be pitted against each other.
It was a long process but it was Mister Fantastic who made sure everyone gets to go home as he created a portal that will take them back to their original timeline.
However, the Thing stayed there for a year, so She-Hulk took her place with the Fantastic Four while he was absent.
So far, all of the heroes in the Avengers: Secret Wars are already introduced in the MCU, sans, of course, the X-Men.
If and when they would debut sometime in the future, Avengers; Secret Wars could be a great movie for them to enter the MCU.
Avengers: Secret Wars also set up the future of the MCU and what lies ahead after Phase Six since it will be the movie closing out another saga. With cosmic entities finally coming in little by little, such could be the next saga for the MCU.

Movies under the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Avengers: Secret Wars are set to come out in theaters worldwide and after 45 days from its release in the cinemas, it will be making its way to Disney Plus which remains to have exclusive rights to stream Marvel titles online.

Unfortunately, there is no trailer yet for Avengers: Secret Wars. There is still a long way to go if one would wait for a trailer since the production has not even started yet.
The earliest possible date for a trailer release would be early 2025 or during the release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
