Kylie Jenner is a famed makeup mogul, who launched her brand, Kylie Cosmetics, in 2015. Since it’s been several years since then, it’s highly likely for the reality TV star to know all about proper sanitation protocols when mixing and making different makeup products.
Kylie Jenner Accused Of Bypassing Proper Sanitation Protocols
But after she shared a series of photos seemingly testing products for her cosmetics line in Italy, one person became visibly upset. Cosmetic developer Kevin James Bennett lashed out at Kylie Jenner for allegedly bypassing proper sanitation protocols because she was mixing makeup without a hair net, a white coat, and gloves.
“I'm a cosmetic developer and work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job. I have very short hair, and I've NEVER been allowed into the lab or onto the manufacturing floor without a hair net, shoe covers, mask...and disposable GLOVES,” Bennet wrote (via Fox News).

He also accused Jenner of gaslighting her followers into thinking that she was the one creating her cosmetics.
“And I'd like to know what ignorant manufacturer (in Italy) let her stage this photo-op in their lab and on the manufacturing floor - without following proper sanitation protocols. I need the name because I want to make sure my clients NEVER work with them,” Bennett added.

Shortly after, Jenner responded to Bennett by saying that she was aware of the proper sanitation protocols and did not break any. After all, her photos were taken away from where makeup is typically manufactured. Jenner also stressed that she’s not putting her customers at risk.
“Kevin - this picture is not taken in a manufacturing facility. I would never bypass sanitary protocols and neither would any other celeb or beauty brand owner. that’s completely unacceptable I agree. This is a small personal space creating my own fun samples and taking pictures for content nowhere near mass manufacturing. no one is putting customers at risk,” Jenner said.
However, this did not stop Bennett from attacking Jenner and insisting that she was gaslighting her followers.
As such, The Kardashians star fired back by asking the cosmetic developer if he was there while she was mixing makeup. The mom of two also sarcastically said that she needed to change her dog’s name after her back and forth with Bennett. After all, her newest dog is named Kevin.
