King Charles’ coronation is just three months away, so preparations are already underway as early as now. According to reports, King Charles’ coronation will be different from Queen Elizabeth’s coronation decades ago because his ceremony will be shorter and much simpler.
King Charles Is Pressured To Have The Perfect Coronation On May 6?
According to Woman’s Day, King Charles is already stressing about his coronation because he wants it to be perfect. Unfortunately, he’s allegedly unable to achieve what he wants because of everything that’s been happening to the royal family.
An unnamed source claimed that King Charles wants to cancel his coronation altogether because if it wouldn’t be perfect, he wouldn’t want to push through with it.
“The pressure is getting to Charles. He wants the coronation to be perfect, but so far, with everything going on in the family, it’s far from it. Knowing Charles, he’d rather not do the coronation at all if it’s not to his exacting standards,” the source said.

King Charles Has Not Decided Whether He Will Invite Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To His Coronation Or Not?
King Charles also reportedly needs to make a tough call regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attendance at his coronation. Queen Consort Camilla and Prince William allegedly do not want the Sussexes to be there.
“They don’t want to give Harry any more chances to make those baseless accusations,” the source said.
The source also claimed that King Charles is starting to panic with regard to everything relating to his coronation.
“He’s starting to panic that they’re going about this coronation all wrong and that he may well end up less popular than ever,” the source said.
Preparations Are Underway Ahead Of King Charles’ Coronation
However, King Charles’ May 6 coronation is still a go. In fact, preparations are already taking place as early as now because it is an important event. Reports confirmed that all key members of the royal family would be at King Charles’ coronation. But Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Markle’s fates remain unknown.
Recent reports also confirmed that King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla would take part in a short procession about their coronation. They will also make an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
According to CBS News, Queen Consort Camilla will not wear the controversial Koh-i-Noor diamond crown. Instead, she will be wearing a recycled headpiece to the ceremony.
Queen Consort Camilla wore the crown during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022. But there are claims that the crown might have been stolen from India. So, to avoid backlash, King Charles’ wife won’t wear it on May 6.
