Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made several allegations against the royal family in their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan and his memoir SpareKing Charles seemingly reacted to the drama in his recent public sighting.

King Charles Reportedly Says Harry, Who?

His Majesty greeted the students outside of the Stratford campus of the University of East London for its 125th anniversary Wednesday. During the visit, the 74-year-old royal unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion and the opening of its new hospital and primary care training hub.

During the meet and greet with the crowd, he shook hands with the people, and one member of the public asked if he could "bring back Harry?"

The King said, "who?" before bursting into laughter upon realizing who the person was talking about — his son, who now lives in California, Express reported.

Prince William's dad didn't say much after he realized that the person was referring to his youngest son.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal duties in 2020. They have since relocated to Los Angeles with their son Archie, 3. They welcomed their second child, Lilibet, 1, in Montecito.

Is There Any Progress In King Charles, Prince Harry's Relationship?

Several sources claimed that the new monarch wanted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at his coronation. However, there are no concrete reports if the palace has already invited them. Also, some royal experts said there had been no contact between the royals and the Sussexes after the release of Spare.

"There's not been much connection, even that [Archbishop of Canterbury Justin] Welby stuff is wide of the mark, there's a lot of guesswork going on," royal expert Robert Jobson said, Newsweek reported.

"My understanding is that there's been no real contact whatsoever, so I don't know where a lot of people are getting it from. I'm told that it's not the case."

Royal historian Marlene Koenig seemingly echoed the same sentiment. She admitted that she hadn't heard any effort from any of the parties but believed that the royal family should take the necessary steps to reconcile with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

"I am unaware of any olive branches, but I also believe that it is better for the King and his family to not draw further attention to what Harry wrote, and let the family do what is needed to be done for a possible reconnection."
