Kim Da Mi got the chance to work with Choi Woo Shik again – and the result skyrocketed their careers even more.
In December, the 16-episode series Our Beloved Summer brought the viewers on a rollercoaster ride as it tells the story of Choi Woo Shik's Choi Ung and Kim Da Mi's Guk Yeon Soo. The two lead characters had a brief relationship in high school that did not end in a good way. A decade after filming their high school documentary, they meet again to appear in front of the camera again.
The hit series served as Kim Da Mi's latest project with Choi Woo Shik after working with him in The Witcher: Subversion.
After getting another chance to work with him, the actress shared her thoughts about Choi Woo Shik and how he is close to her ideal type.
Kim Da Mi Talks About Reunion With Choi Woo Shik
Following the success of Our Beloved Summer, Kim Da Mi sat for a new interview (shared by Naver) where she talked about her co-star Choi Woo Shik. Per the actress, they were able to show fun love through their characters in the series.
"We know each other so well, and because we're so comfortable with each other, we were able to act comfortably. I was grateful for everything in each scene," she said.

Choi Woo Shik made it to the conversation again when Kim Da Mi talked about her ideal type. She revealed that she wants someone who can handle a conversation well since she is not fond of showing diverse sides of her.
The actress then made a shocking statement, saying that Choi Woo Shik's character, Choi Woong, is the closest to her ideal type. She explained that the character looks at one person and does his best.
Kim Da Mi Says Our Beloved Summer's Success Was Unexpected
Though she already starred in several hit series and films, Kim Da Mi still did not think that Our Beloved Summer would be so popular. The actress initially thought many people would like the show at all.
But after reading the script and having fun on set, she realized that the viewers would also like it.
"The director and writer were younger than I thought. We chatted like friends and so I think we were able to have more fun. I think I thought, 'If we have fun, then they'll like it,'" she went on.
Our Beloved Summer aired its last episode on January 25.
