Kang Ki Young graced the cover of Esquire Korea and talked about the success of his character in the recently-concluded Extraordinary Attorney Woo. He also had nothing but good praise for the series’ lead star, Park Eun Bin.

Kang Ki Young may reprise his role as Jung Myung Seok in the reported Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2. Rumors have it he may lead the show, replacing Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh.

Kang Ki Young Learns a Lot from Park Eun Bin in Extraordinary Attorney Woo

The 38-year-old revealed he had learned a lot from Park Eun Bin while doing the series as much as his character had learned from Woo Young Woo.

“Eun Bin’s attitude towards acting and her efforts to lift the atmosphere on set are really incredible,” he said, via Soompi. “It always feels like I’m making a mistake or doing something wrong, and Eun Bin is always on the ball.”

Just like Park Eun Bin, Kan Ki Young also receives praises for his role as attorney Jung Myung Seok in the hit ENA drama series.

In fact, this new height makes him excited to know what character he will be playing next.

“I’m trying not to be too excited. Since [viewers] like my new image, I want to learn even more new things,” he explained.

Jung Myung Seok is known for exuding the importance of “empathy, trust, and growth.” Some even said his character is like a unicorn, making him feel awkward that people like Jung Myung Seok don’t exist in real life.

“There are definitely aspects that made Myung Seok look especially kind. Not all people can be great and even if someone is a good person, in the process of meeting others, you can imagine in how many aspects people don’t get along,” he continued. “However, I acted in my role with the belief that there are a lot of these kind [workplace] seniors everywhere in our society. I still think that. I think there are a lot of them once you start looking.”

So, how special Extraordinary Attorney Woo is for him?

He said the show had taught him a lot and made him want to become someone who can positively influence others.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo has been renewed for a second season, and rumors have it Kang Ki Young will lead the show if Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh fail to reprise their roles.

KDramaStars reported that this is not far from happening with his incredible performance as Jung Myeok Seok and many credits to his name.

In fact, there are speculations that Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2 will feature Jung Myeong Seok’s past and a possible new love interest after battling cancer.
