Kaldheim has officially arrived on Magic: The Gathering Arena and Magic Online, so that means players can now enjoy the new Norse mythology-inspired cards online ahead of the tabletop release. Players can now also download the early access mobile version of MTG Arena on the Google Play Store.

Containing 285 new cards, the Viking-themed Kaldheim features new mechanics like Foretell and Boast, as well as returning mechanics such as Snow, Changeling, and Modal Double-Faced Cards (MDFC). The new expansion also features tribal themes that represent the 10 realms of Kaldheim.

One MDFC rare card from Kaldheim received a day 1 errata. Wizards of the Coast noted that the words "revealed this way" were inadvertently omitted from the printed card. With the old text, you could technically get the cards from any zone whether you have information of them or not: library, graveyard, opponent's library, etc, but the updated Oracle text fixes that. Only the front side of the MDFC received the errata.

Alrund's current Oracle text is shown below:

Alrund, God of the Cosmos {3}{U}{U} Legendary Creature — God 1/1 Alrund gets +1/+1 for each card in your hand and each foretold card you own in exile. At the beginning of your end step, choose a card type, then reveal the top two cards of your library. Put all cards of the chosen type revealed this way into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order. ///// Hakka, Whispering Raven {1}{U} Legendary Creature — Bird 2/3 Flying Whenever Hakka, Whispering Raven deals combat damage to a player, return it to its owner's hand, then scry 2.
