Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 Episode 8 Recap
For any newcomers, Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a school romance anime following two genius students; school-president Miyuki Shirogane, and vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya.
Everyone in their elite school believes that the two would be the perfect couple - including Kaguya and Miyuki themselves. Unfortunately, they're both too proud to admit their feelings, so they both come up with complex antics and mind games to make each other confess.
Episodes of the romantic comedy are usually divided into short, digestible chunks, so don't be intimidated if you haven't started yet!
Episode 8 elaborated a bit on Miyuki's relationship with his sister Kei. When Miyuki suggests visiting Kei's school during their cultural festival to be inspired for his school's own, Kei will only accept her brother's presence if he dresses fashionably.
This is a bit of a sad chunk, as Kei has no idea that Miyuki has completely given up his desire to buy clothes so that she can afford more, while Kei is secretly proud of her brother but she will not admit it.
Elsewhere, Kaguya finds out about the lore surrounding the cultural festival. Upon finding out that many couples are formed during the festival, Kaguya strongly - and heartwarmingly! - encourages Ishigami to confess to his crush.
But Kaguya is finally ready to break the rules of the game she and Miyuki have been playing since the beginning of the series, and finally confess her feelings. For his part, Miyuki is prepared to confess himself unless Kaguya goes first!
