Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Season 3 brought Shirogane and Hayasaka face to face once again due to Kaguya's plotting. At this point in the romantic comedy, fans simply want to see Kaguya and Miyuki end up together so seeing Hayasaka getting between them, even at her mistress' orders, might leave a bitter taste for some. So, does Hayasaka like Shirogane?
Expect some spoilers about Hayasaka's character below:
About Ai Hayasaka
Ai Hayasaka starts the series as Kaguya's servant and acts as a supporter throughout her romantic battles with Shirogane. For those interested in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War references, the character is based on the envoy who helps Princess Kaguya back to the moon in The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, hence the star and moon symbolisms around her!
While she works for Kaguya, the two have grown up together and they confide in each other in an almost sisterly relationship, and, being close with her, she eventually befriends Shirogane, Kaguya's love interest - though this initially happens for the wrong reason.
In later manga chapters, Ai Hayasaka is revealed to have been hired by Kaguya's elder brother to spy on her mistress, though she eventually manages to escape this situation and finally have an egalitarian relationship with Kaguya as a friend.
Does Hayasaka Like Shirogane?
Hayasaka doesn't like Mikyuki Shirogane in a romantic way and she is supportive of Kaguya as she tries to make him confess his feelings. In fact, Hayasaka is one of the people that become closely implicated in Kaguya's romance with Shirogane, being one of the people Kaguya confides in the most.
In a past episode, she was sent by Kaguya to flirt with Shirogane and ask him out. To Kaguya's relief, Miyuki politely declined, stating he liked someone else - Kaguya herself as we all know.
Season 3 had Hayasaka and Shirogane meet once more, as Kaguya sent her to watch over him and ensure he wouldn't flirt with other girls in the karaoke place. At this point, the situation felt a bit uncomfortable, given that both Kaguya and Shirogane's feelings are clear, and fans don't want other people flirting with them - even if they don't really mean it.

Hayasaka does try to seduce Shirogane at that point, just to prove a point to Kaguya, but the two eventually talk about it and it becomes clear that Hayasaka's friendship with Shirogane is, in fact, only platonic.
So far, Hayasaka doesn't have a love interest, although many fans would like her to be the person Chika Fujiwara ends up with, given that Hayasaka has stated she finds Chika cute on multiple occasions and there are implications that the latter might be bi.
In any case, fans can rest assured that Hayasaka will not try to steal Kaguya's future boyfriend - though some would definitely want to see Kaguya and Miyuki employ less sneaky tactics to make each other confess at this point.
