Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Chapter 274 Recap
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Chapter 274 leaves the student council to try and mitigate the chaos after Nagisa Kashiwaki breaks up with her boyfriend Tsubasa, leaving him heartbroken.
Ishigami tells Maki Shijo that she might now be able to make a move and act on her long-suppressed crush on Tsubasa.
While this would have been the dream for Maki until very recently, she feels deeply unsettled now that she finally gets her wish.
Knowing that her friend has probably broken up because of her, she finds Nagisa and confronts her about it.
Nagisa admits that, for a long time, she has admired Maki, to the point of liking all the same things that Maki did. She believes that even her relationship with Tsubasa might be a symptom of that.
She declares that she cares about Maki more and wouldn't have dated Tsubasa had she known of Maki's feelings about him.
To test her, Maki asks how Nagisa would feel if she and Tsubasa acted like a couple around her.
As much as Nagisa tries to be cavalier about it and focus on Maki's heartache, she's clearly disturbed.
Maki thinks that Nagisa wouldn't have these feelings of jealousy if she didn't truly care for Tsubasa.
Finally, after having achieved enough character growth to act maturely about it, Maki advises Nagisa not to give up on Tsubasa as long as she still has feelings for him.
She promises to keep being Nagisa's friend and grow out of her high school crush; and as our beloved narrator reassures us, her own happiness isn't far off!
The Kaguya-sama: Love Is War manga ending has been announced, so we only have nine chapters left to go!

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Chapter 275 will be released on Friday, September 9, in Japan. In Europe, Canada, and the US, it will be available from September 8 onwards.
