In the 31st issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine for this year, it was revealed that the Love is War manga will end in 14 chapters. As the latest chapter is chapter 268, the Love is War manga will likely end in chapter 272.
Kaguya-sama’s finale is something that fans have been anticipating for a long time now. This is because the manga entered its final arc back in October 2021.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Manga Ending Date
The Love is War manga has a weekly release schedule in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine. If there are no delays in the series’ publication, the final chapter of the manga will release in the middle of October 2022.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a romantic comedy manga series by Aka Akasaka. The manga started back in May 2015, with the series initially being published in Miracle Jump. But in January 2016, Love is War started its serialization on Weekly Young Jump.
Love is War follows Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya who are the President and Vice President of the elite Shuchiin Academy high school, respectively.
Miyuki and Kaguya develop feelings for each other, but because of their pride, they refrain from confessing their love. Instead, Miyuki and Kaguya make up schemes to get the other to confess.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Anime Ending
Season 3 of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime recently ended on its 13th episode. The anime ending became a hit among fans, so much so that it took the top spot in the MyAnimeList all-time anime ranking.
The anime’s third season ended at a turning point in the manga. Without going into spoiler territory, the point where the anime ended signaled a shift in tone in the Love is War manga, prompting fans to speculate if the anime will continue.
After the season 3 finale, it was revealed that another Love is War anime is in the works. Though there is no information yet on if this anime is season 4 or if it is a movie.
If the anime project is season 4, it is likely that the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime ending will be years away as there are still a lot of manga chapters to adapt. That is if the whole manga will be adapted.
