Justice League Sneak Peek of Batman’s Cowl Rendering Appears

The fate of the Batman solo movie may still be in the proverbial hands of the script. But that doesn't mean that we won't be seeing the Dark Knight from Ben Affleck's rendition anymore.

If anything, Justice League is preparing us to not only see the Caped Crusader in action, but also the rest of the big leagues of the DC universe. Now, we get a sneak peek of the 3D render of the Batman cowl for the Justice League movie.

Batman-News's Twitter showed off the images which include a full head view and a close-up on the upper facial area. There's a lot of scowling from the Dark Knight, with lines on grimly crossing the forehead and the side of the eyes. It's almost like a very tired and very angry Batman underneath.

These may be the only two images released for the Justice League costume for Batman. And as the source noted, the change is concentrated mostly in the ears.

The images may be pointing to the Classic Batsuit. In an earlier interview with Comicbook.com, costume designer Michael Wilkinson revealed that there will be more than one batsuit in the Justice League movie.

"We've come up with a new cowl. It's very close to the last one, but again new technologies, new materials (now made from polyurethane instead of foam late), tweaking has allowed us to take that one even further)."

I'm interested in seeing the entire batsuit, since the classic take will have incorporated a lot more technology and some Asian martial arts details to reflect Bruce Wayne's experience in the subject.

Justice League will be out in theaters on Nov. 16.
