The Jujutsu Kaisen manga isn’t ending anytime soon, but the conclusion is in sight. According to its creator, Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga is expected to end sometime in 2023.

In 2020, Akutami stated that they knew how the manga was going to end but hadn’t decided how the characters would arrive at that point. Then, in early 2021, they gave an interview suggesting that they would like to end the series within two years.

It’s worth saying that Akutami wasn’t fully confident that he could finish the story within that timeframe, and it’s common for manga to continue for longer than their creator intended (see the One Piece manga that’s still ongoing).

However, since they mentioned the two-year mark, the manga has been repeatedly hampered by various breaks due to Gege Akutami's poor health.

It is believed that the manga is in its last quarter. With health becoming increasingly important, it would not be surprising if Gege Akutami seeks to conclude the series as smoothly and quickly as possible.

No matter what happens, it’s clear that Jujutsu Kaisen has been a roaring success! Thankfully, especially for anime fans, there is plenty more of this world to enjoy both on-page and on-screen in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2.
