After all, each of these characters has a significant role to play in the Shibuya Incident.
Here are the following characters featured in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Shibuya Incident opening and their roles to play, in order of appearance:
- Yuji Itadori is dead set on exacting vengeance on Mahito, who was responsible for harming his friends. He faces Mahito in a high-stakes battle that will push him to his physical and emotional limits.
- Mei Mei is one of the jujutsu sorcerers who will fight to contain the curse users in Shibuya, like Neji Ebina and the cursed spirit, Smallpox Deity.
- Atsuya Kusakabe is a highly capable and experienced jujutsu sorcerer, whose leadership and strategic guidance help coordinate the efforts to combat the cursed spirits and keep the damage down to a minimum level. He was with Panda for most of the Shibuya Incident Arc.
- Kiyotaka Ijichi had a rough experience in the Shibuya Incident Arc after getting stabbed in the back by an enemy, but thanks to Nanami’s prompt medical treatment, he is still alive.
- Kento Nanami has a critical role that has pushed him to his limits. We can’t say more, but Nanami’s actions during the arc made significant contributions to the developing storyline. From Dagon to Mahito, Nanami’s spirit never wavered in front of his enemies.
- Takuma Ino plays a vital role in the Shibuya Incident Arc as he fights a curse user named Ogami and her grandson. He was with Yuji and Megumi, trying to destroy the cursed tools that were putting up the screens.
- Maki Zenin also takes part in the fighting, as she joins Naobito and Nanami in fending off a cursed spirit named Dagon. She also comes face-to-face with Jogo, but only for a short while.
- Toge Inumaki helps the other sorcerers, particularly Yuji, fight mutated humans. He lost something during the arc due to Sukuna’s domain expansion, which killed a lot of people.
