Jujutsu Kaisen Fans Celebrate Satoru Gojo's Return After 1189 Days

It has been a really long time but the wait is finally over. Satoru Gojo has been unsealed from the Prison Realm in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221 and fans are celebrating his return.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221, the Culling Game players worked on unsealing Gojo from the Prison Realm. After much discussion, they brought the Prison Realm out on a field and used Angel's cursed technique to unseal it.

Although the cube disappeared, Gojo was nowhere to be found. However, it turned out that Kenjaku had placed the actual Prison Realm underwater in the Japan Trench and Gojo's escape caused an earthquake.

Still, it didn't take long for Gojo to find Kenjaku and immediately tried to confront him. However, he stopped when he realized that Kenjaku was being protected by Uraume and Sukuna who has possessed Megumi Fushiguro's body. Still, Gojo wants to set a date for when they can finally go into battle.

Gojo's return was certainly a welcome one and Jujutsu Kaisen fans are loving his awesome comeback in the manga.

There are a lot of things to think about now that Gojo is back. It's a clear indication that the Culling Game is coming to an end and the same could be said about the manga itself. Gege Akutami had previously confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen could end very soon and people should be prepared for the epic conclusion.

The manga is not the only medium where Satoru Gojo is making his comeback. It has already been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will focus on Gojo and Suguru Geto in their younger years when they had to face off against an assassin. With that in mind, there will be no shortage of Gojo content in the next few weeks.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221 is out now. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will premiere in July 2023.
