Following its announcement back in July, the new Jujutsu Kaisen 4-D experience and roller coaster ride are now open at Universal Studios.

These new Jujutsu Kaisen-themed attractions were opened today at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in Osaka, and pictures from the theme park were shared online via the official Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account.

One of the highlights of this USJ crossover is the “Jujutsu Kaisen the Real 4-D,” a 4-D experience. This 20-minute attraction features animation that’s made specifically for this crossover, with an original story that’s set in Osaka.

Specifically, this 4-D experience follows the opening of the Jujutsu High School Osaka branch. Riders will play the role of prospective students as they attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the new school.

But as with most events in the series, a secret plot unfolds that feature fearsome curses.

Thankfully, Jujutsu sorcerers Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara have infiltrated the ceremony and will help out.

As for what to expect, since this is a 4-D experience, the attraction won’t just involve riders watching some animation. There should be other immersive tricks too such as wind effects, 3-D animation, and more.

The next attraction is called the “Jujutsu Kaisen X Hollywood Dream - The Ride.” This roller coaster ride will be a Jujutsu Kaisen-themed takeover of the Hollywood Dream in USJ.

So, what makes this ride different from the standard Hollywood Dream experience?

During the crossover event, the ride will run as it normally would, but with the show’s opening theme "Kaikai Kitan” being played on the coaster’s built-in speakers.

Along with these two rides, the crossover will also feature exclusive merch that will be available in certain shops around the park.
