In What Chapter Does Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 End?
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2's final episode, number 47, adapts chapter 137 of the manga series.
Both episode 47 and chapter 137 cover the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident, including Yuta Okkotsu's return and the resumption of Yuji's execution order.
Jujutsu Kaisen's second season adapted the Gojo's Past and Shibuya Incident arcs of the manga, covering chapters 64 to 136.
The anime's first season adapted the first five arcs of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, with both episode 24 and chapter 63 concluding the Death Painting Arc.
We have also seen the prequel series Jujutsu Kaisen 0 adapted into a movie. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 adapts the whole of a single manga volume originally titled Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School.

Where to Start Reading Jujutsu Kaisen's Manga After Season 2
If you want to get ahead of Jujutsu Kaisen, or simply can't wait for the third season, you'll want to read the manga from chapter 138. In terms of physical volumes, this is the end of volume 16.
Technically, chapter 137, covered in Season 2's final episode, is the start of the next arc. While there are some smaller events beforehand, the next part of Jujutsu Kaisen revolves around the infamous Culling Game.
The Culling Game is briefly explained in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2's final episode. Put simply, it's a battle royale filled with sorcerer fights, so if you like the Shibuya Incident, you're in for another treat!
How Far Ahead is the JJK Manga Compared to the Anime?
While Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya Incident feels like a beginning-of-the-end moment in the story, in terms of chapters, the anime is barely at the halfway mark yet.
As mentioned above, Jujutsu Kaisen's anime has adapted up to chapter 137. At the time of writing, there are over 250 chapters published, comprising over 24 volumes.
By the time the third season starts airing, there could be more chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen unadapted than have been adapted!
The Culling Game lasts roughly as long, in terms of chapters, as the Shibuya Incident. As a result, it's expected that season 3 will focus on the Culling Game in the same way season 2 focused on Shibuya.
Should You Read the Jujutsu Kaisen Manga from the Start or Skip Ahead?
It’s generally recommended that you read all manga from the beginning as anime adaptations can miss some details. However, Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the more faithful adaptations, allowing anime fans to skip ahead.
There are a few side character details that are not translated from manga to anime with the same detail, but in terms of the core story, it’s a well-received adaptation with little missed.
Therefore, if you’ve seen the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, you should be able to jump into chapter 138 of the manga and comfortably understand the story and characters to that point.
