Jujutsu Kaisen is among today’s most popular anime. Given its popularity, Universal Studios Japan has announced two special Jujutsu Kaisen theme park attractions.
These two attractions are going to be at Universal Studios Japan, and they will begin running from September 2022 until July 2023.
The attractions include a 4D experience and a themed roller coaster ride. Details were revealed on the official Universal Studios Japan website.
The first attraction is the “Jujutsu Kaisen the Real 4-D,” a 4D film presentation that will last for 20 minutes. This attraction will feature brand-new original animation that’s made specifically for 4D.
For its story, the Jujutsu Kaisen 4D experience will follow the opening of the Jujutsu High School Osaka branch. Riders will play the role of prospective students as they attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
But as the events unfold, a secret plot is revealed. Thankfully, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki have infiltrated the ceremony and are on hand to help.
Story aside, not a lot of details have been given regarding what to expect, given that it is a 4D attraction, it’s safe to assume that it will feature moving seats that are synced to the action, as well as wind, rain, and other effects.
The second attraction is the “Jujutsu Kaisen X Hollywood Dream - The Ride.” As its name implies, this ride will be a Jujutsu Kaisen-themed takeover of the Hollywood Dream roller coaster.
Specifically, the ride will let riders experience the roller coaster while the series’ first opening theme “Kaikai Kitan” is played in the built-in speakers.
