What Is Jujutsu Kaisen 0 About?
The movie follows the life of Yuta Okkotsu, who is cursed. After the untimely death of Rika Orimoto, Okkotsu is haunted by her cursed spirit.
Moreover, he is filled with grief and living his life without any purpose. To make matters worse, Okkotsu is unable to handle Orimoto’s monstrous power.
Later, Okkotsu is taken into custody by Jujutsu sorcerers who are trained to fight against cursed spirits.
Fortunately, Satoru Gojo appears before him and lends a helping hand.
Gojo makes Okkotsu join Jujutsu High. At the school, he learns more about sorcery and trains to control Orimoto.
As a freshman, Okkotsu starts getting confident about his abilities, but there is danger lurking in the Jujutsu world.
Who Are the Villains in Jujutsu Kaisen 0?
Nanako and her twin sister Mimiko are evil curse users who have joined forces with Suguru Geto.
Nanako cares for Geto and is fiercely loyal to the villain. She is invested in Geto’s evil plan in Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Her innate technique allows her to manipulate a subject in a photograph she has captured using her phone’s camera.
Nanako’s cursed tool is her phone’s camera that she uses with her technique.
Like her twin sister, Mimiko cares deeply for Geto and is working closely with him and his team of villains.
Mimiko’s cursed technique allows her to hang her opponents to death using a rope.
The exact workings of this cursed technique remain a mystery, but she uses her stuffed toy and rope to execute her technique.
He was one of Geto’s most staunch commanders. He started as a believer in Geto’s plan to rule over a world of sorcerers.
After the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, Miguel was forced to team up with Gojo. He headed back to his homeland in Africa and started to train Okkotsu.
Miguel is a villain who fans wish was a hero. What makes Miguel different from, say Nanako or Mimiko, is that he doesn’t harbor hatred toward humans.
Also, Miguel is instrumental in making Okkotsu stronger through his intense training in Africa.
Touted as one of Geto's strongest allies, Miguel possesses high levels of cursed energy. During one of his bouts against Gojo, he managed to harden his body and take the hits.
Miguel’s cursed tool is the Black Rope, which is often compared to a special grade tool. This rope is infused with a cursed technique that is capable of canceling the effects of other cursed techniques.
However, the more the rope is used, the more it burns until nothing is left of it. Unfortunately, he used the entire Black Rope in his battle against Gojo.
The Black Rope was also one of the objects that could help Gojo get unsealed from the Prison Realm.
The Prison Realm is a great segue to introduce the evilest of all villains in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the Jujutsu Kaisen series.
As the primary antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Geto was once a Jujutsu High student just like Gojo.
However, Geto was ostracized from the school after he ended up killing over 100 civilians in one night.
Geto, who is also known as the Worst Curse User, is known for being a heartless narcissist. He is incredibly powerful and possesses a very high amount of cursed energy.
As a sorcerer, he is an expert in how cursed techniques and energy work. Geto is skilled at manipulating or imbuing energy into arms.
He can also read the flow of cursed energy inside other sorcerers.
Using his Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique, Geto can manipulate and control traveling cursed spirits.
Meanwhile, Uzumaki, which is his maximum technique, allows Geto to combine a large number of curses for one single powerful attack.
