Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Reveals Disturbing New Trailer

Releasing for Christmas in Japan, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has taken the anime industry to a whole new level with such an interesting prequel of the show and manga series it is based on and it easily took the second spot, just behind Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. The film reveals a disturbing new trailer showing the uncanny relationship of Yuta and his childhood love.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 releases yet another trailer and it is so disturbing that it will definitely send chills to your bones and make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It focuses on Yuta Okkotsu and his relationship with the love of his childhood who died and followed him even beyond death in one of the most horrific creatures in the whole franchise so far.

The prequel movie follows the events before the anime series with the lead protagonist Yuta Okkotsu who struggles as his childhood best friend and love Rika died in a car accident and followed him beyond the grave with her cursed spirit who becomes the humongous monster in the disturbing trailer. Yuta enters the Jujutsu Academy where he comes across Gojo who teaches him how to manage Rika.

Jujutsu Kaisen is from the pages of the Japanese supernatural shōnen manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2018. It also has a light novel series. In January 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen manga ranked second in Oricon’s weekly manga ranking.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 released in Japan last Christmas. There is no international release date yet. The series is yet to confirm whether there would be a second season for the anime show.
