Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has yet to announce whether the movie will be released internationally and many fans are calling for it considering the global fan base that has been created by the series that has been released last year. Hopes are high for it, too, as the movie is one of the highest-grossing in the country, how much more can it put in the bag when it gets out for the rest of the world, right?

The prequel movie centers on Yuta Okkotsu who has a childhood best friend and love lost in a car accident, Rika, and with a ring containing a promise, Rika remains with him beyond death, being a cursed spirit who follows him always. When Yuta comes into the Jujutsu Academy, he encounters Gojo Satoru who gives him lessons on how to manage a cursed spirit like Rika’s.
