It’s been over a year since the film’s Japanese premiere, and now, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 teamed up with PROPLICA for a 1:1 scale replica of Yuta Okkotsu’s sword, as seen in the anime film.
While you probably won’t be able to cut through spirits (or anything for that matter) with this replica sword, Yuta cosplayers and Jujutsu Kaisen lovers will definitely be delighted with its life-size scale and details.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Yuta’s Sword
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is an anime film by studio MAPPA that serves as a prequel to the hit Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime, so it’s no surprise that the film became a big box office hit when it came out in 2021.
After its worldwide theatrical release ended, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 became one of the highest-grossing anime films of all time.
Instead of starring Yuji Itadori, the film follows Yuta Okkotsu, a special-grade cursed human who becomes a Jujutsu sorcerer under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo.
The film follows Yuta’s origins and explains how he became one of the world’s most powerful Jujutsu sorcerers.
While anime-only fans may not have seen Yuta in the series yet, manga readers are no doubt familiar with him.
Currently, Yuta is a major supporting character in the manga. And while the anime will continue this year, we might not see Yuta in the anime again anytime soon as he appears after the major Shibuya Incident arc.

Yuta’s Sword Replica by PROPLICA
This replica sword is officially called the "PROPLICA Otsukotsu no Katana -Theatrical Version JUJUTSU KAISEN 0- ~Rika Manifestation~ prop sword".
It is a faithful recreation of the sword that Yuta Okkotsu uses in the film.
It may not be an actual sword that you can use to cut down foes, but it does have a couple of cool features, including vibration effects, as well as built-in voice lines that can be activated by slashing and doing other gestures.
Along with these features, the sword also has design elements that are taken straight out of the anime film.
Plus, the sword comes with a sword holder and a booklet with info about the item.
This Yuta sword replica from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 won’t come cheap though. It is priced at JPY 14,850 (around USD 113) and will be available this June via Tamashii Nations.
