Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong teased its future viewers through new posters.
Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong, based on a novel of the same name, is an upcoming historical-medical Korean drama featuring Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung. It will explore the life of Yoo Se Poong, a physician for the royal family who eventually gets ousted due to his involvement in a conspiracy about the monarchy.
After leaving to work in Gyesu Village, he starts training to become a doctor who treats patients’ physical and mental issues.
Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung will serve as the main cast members, and the trio offered another look into their characters through the drama’s posters.

Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong Posters Revealed
The K-drama (via Naver) shared three posters showing the series’ three main characters.
Kim Min Jae’s Yoo Se Poong smiles as he enjoys his time as a top doctor in the K-drama. However, the poster’s text reads, “A genius doctor who lost his abilities as an acupuncturist. He feels the pulse of one’s heart.”

This stirred questions about whether he would lose his abilities. Meanwhile, the name Yoo Se Yeob can also be seen next to his name, hinting at an interesting backstory about his character.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyang Gi’s Seo Eun Woo looks innocent as he shares her dreams with people. The text on the poster says, “Jack-of-all-trades and unexpected widow Seo Eun Woo, she deduces the stories of those who are heartbroken.” She will soon meet Yoo Se Poong after her husband’s death and transform into a doctor who can heal one’s heart.
Lastly, Kim Sang Kyung’s Gye Ji Han boasts his charisma in his solo poster but also expresses a look of disappointment. He also has a liquor bottle and coins around his image, giving some warning to the viewers about the character.
“An eccentric and greedy doctor becomes a mentor who looks rough on the outside but is soft on the inside,” the poster shows.
Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong Aims To Heal People
After releasing the poster, the series’ production team pledged to deliver laughter and healing through the K-drama.
“The story of them empathizing with the pain of those who are wounded while delivering comfort and support will be a powerful remedy that is absolutely necessary for this era,” the team went on.
Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong will also present the characters played by Ahn Chang Hwan, Yoo Sung Joo, Lee Seo Hwan, Jung Won Chang, Yeon Bora, Jeon Guk Hwang, Kim Su An, and Han Chang Min.
