GOT7 Youngjae was bombarded with rumors that he was dating singer Lovey.
GOT7 debuted in 2014 and introduced its seven members — JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom — to the public. Although they have been part of the industry, they only became a subject to dating rumors after a Chinese platform claimed that Jackson was dating WJSN’s Yuqi.
Ahgases immediately celebrated the rumor, as it became the boy group’s first dating rumor since its debut — and the fastest one to be debunked.
After Jackson’s buzz, Youngjae became the latest member to be hit by a romance buzz.

Is GOT7’s Youngjae Dating Lovey?
Wikitree first reported the romance between Youngjae and Lovey, saying that the duo had been dating for a year.
The soloist is four years older than him, but it helped them to become closer to each other. The same report claimed that the K-pop idol invited her to GOT7’s HOME COMING FANCON in May.
The same news site disclosed that they worked together on the boy group’s latest comeback album B-side track, Drive Me to the Moon. Lovey’s name was included in the credits under her real name, Kim Hye Su.

She sparked rumors, even more, when she publicly showed support for GOT7 and its comeback album.
However, Youngjae’s agency, Sublime, immediately debunked the claims and said that they were just colleagues.
“The two are colleagues in music, and as they participated in each other’s albums, they are cheering on each other’s activities,” Sublime said.
Ahgases Say They’re Excited To See GOT7 Members Date
Unlike any other fandoms, GOT7’s fans reacted differently to Youngjae’s dating rumor and wished it was real instead.
According to the fandom, they were excited to see the members’ reactions and how BamBam would tease the K-pop idol because he got a girlfriend.
Unfortunately, Ahgases cannot see it — for now — as Sublime already clarified that they were not dating.
