John Wick: Chapter 4 has been killing it at the box office since its opening weekend! Not only has Keanu Reeves graced the screens once again as the seemingly retired assassin with more action scenes in store for fans, but the latest installment has been on track to become the best box office record for the franchise. However, John Wick 4 has now earned a competition on the list.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has grossed $15.3M last Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which includes the $5.6M the film earned during its preview screenings.
As of writing, the Chris Pine-led film is on track to earn $40M on its opening weekend, potentially knocking John Wick 4 off its pedestal at the box office. John Wick: Chapter 4, on the other hand, is estimated to earn $29M on its second weekend in theaters after its initial $73.8M.
It is worth mentioning that Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and John Wick 4 had been released within a week from each other, with John Wick 4 on March 24, and Honor Among Thieves on March 31.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is already considered to be the best in the franchise, aside from its Certified Fresh rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, the 4th installment features a higher stake in losing Keanu Reeves on his expected last time to grace the screens, especially due to his unpromising fate in the end. However, Lionsgate is nudging director Chad Stahelski to make a fifth film. Nothing has been confirmed as of writing.
Meanwhile, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves currently has Fresh rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes along with an audience score of 92%, which stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant.
