James Gunn Shares Awesome Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Prop He Took Home

There is little doubt that one of the perks of directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is having free reign over the awesome props in the sequel. So it's no surprise that James Gunn admitted he took a particular prop home with him and it is now hanging on his wall.

James Gunn has been very active on Twitter where he continues to answer fan questions about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. One fan pointed out that they loved a particular painting in the bat family's living room on Counter-Earth.

Not surprisingly, Gunn confirmed that the prop is a real painting and he actually has it hanging on his wall at home.

It's certainly an interesting piece of art and there is little doubt that it is not the only thing from the set that James Gunn brought home with him. Hopefully, he will share more updates about the props that are now proudly on display in his home.

While there were a lot of things that Gunn was able to use in his film, he did. admit that he wanted to add a certain song to the soundtrack. Unfortunately, the Suicide Squad director was unable to obtain the rights to the Lord of the New Church song Russian Roulette.

This would have been an interesting choice considering the dark tone of Russian Roulette. The song, which was written and released back in 1982, had been inspired by the film Apocalypse Now and would have been a sombre addition to the soundtrack.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings back Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Elizabeth Debicki, Maria Bakalova, and Sylvester Stallone. Chukwudi Iwuji and Will Poulter join the cast as the High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock, respectively.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now screening in theaters worldwide.
