As Marvel focused on building the new MCU big bad, Kang the Conqueror, fans are more hyped on anticipating the long-awaited return of the Scarlet Witch.
Despite falling to her death in the ending of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, let’s be honest, the existence of the multiverse is not at all helping the case of finality here.
The MCU rarely makes any permanent choice, which includes the death of certain classic heroes. In fact, rumors have been circulating around Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans potentially reprising their roles in the future.
If they plan on returning, who’s to say Elizabeth Olsen can’t? After all, the Scarlet Witch solo film is reportedly still on the table.
“It’s a hard question for me to answer, because I feel like my words are always twisted every time I answer it…” Olsen admitted in a recent interview with the Today show.
“No, so my no-twist zone is, yes, I hope so, but I have no idea.” Olsen added, “When I say that, it’s not because I have a loaded answer.”
“It’s because I say, ‘Yes, I hope so,’ and mean it at face value.”

Many previous MCU actors actively claimed they won’t be returning to reprise their roles, but almost always end up coming back, anyway.
In Olsen’s case, the actress elaborates as to why she believes she is not returning anytime soon.
When asked if she has begun filming anything MCU-related, “Absolutely not.” Whether she has seen any recent scripts, “No.”
Unfortunately, not even a single Zoom call to come aboard on any upcoming MCU project is not in talks, either. “There’s no contract!” Olsen said.
Olsen’s contract with Marvel expired with Doctor Strange 2, which is likely why Wanda met her end then and there.
But the actress did point out: “I sign extensions every time they want me to do a movie. I just signed a very short one at the beginning. So everything’s constantly just, it’s always adjusting for me.”
“No. I don’t think of this either as the end.” The actress previously commented.
