Of course, the first Doctor Strange film would be on the list. Given that this is the movie where the titular character is introduced, it also gives a preview of the other sorcerers that will be with the titular character in the second film like Wong, Mordo, and Christine Palmer. WandaVision
Given that Wanda Maximoff will be playing a pivotal role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, one has to see where she came from prior to the film. It is in the series that Wanda finally embraced being the Scarlet Witch and learned from the Darkhold, the Book of the Damned, which is expected to be an important part of the film given that they are looking for its exact opposite which is the Book of Vishanti.

Loki
Loki’s mischievous escape in Endgame gave birth to his very own series where the multiverse is explained, introducing the concept of variants which are the versions of the characters from different realities. It is in the series, as well, where it is shown that He Who Remains maintained the original timeline before he was killed by Sylvie and the whole multiverse branched out.
What If..?
What If..? is an animated series canon to the franchise which delved into the different alternate realities in existence. It introduced Captain Carter who received the super soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers and her character is expected to make a live-action debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as part of the Illuminati in one teaser.
Spider-Man: No Way Home
The dilemma in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directly connected to Spider-Man: No Way Home because this is where Strange botched a spell as per Peter Parker’s request to have everyone forget who he is and that paved way for his variants and their villains to arrive into the MCU. With such a huge spell, Strange is in trouble leading to the sequel.
