Despite the tragic fate Wanda Maximoff suffered in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse, Elizabeth Olsen remains to be one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most popular actors. This is why it no longer comes as a surprise how fans have been clamoring to see the Harbinger of Chaos back in action.

Kevin Feige previously stated that Olsen's time in the billion-dollar franchise is far from over and while he didn't exactly say when we can expect to see her return, a number of reports have been suggesting that the Scarlet Witch will be making appearances before the Multiverse Saga comes to a close.

According to a rumor shared by Twitter user @FilmOdysseyMCU, the beloved MCU actress is still slated to appear in multiple projects across the Multiverse Saga. As it stands, Elizabeth is reportedly involved in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers: Secret Wars.

But as for Olsen's solo Scarlet Witch film which has long been rumored to be in the works, the source claims it won't happen until the franchise enters a brand new saga and fans might have to wait until at least 2027 to see it.

The idea of Wanda returning to the MCU isn't all that surprising and if anything, the timing is perfect, especially with the X-Men set to take the center stage after the franchise is done exploring the multiverse. It's also worth noting that Olsen has expressed her desire to play an older version of the Scarlet Witch, potentially in a live-action adaptation of the hit Young Avengers arc The Children's Crusade.

Meanwhile, WandaVision is available to stream exclusively on Disney+.
