Is Sam Neill Going To Be In Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom?

We've known for a while that Jeff Goldblum will be returning as chaos theorist Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but rumor has it that Sam Neill, who played protagonist Alan Grant in the first Jurassic Park, could also be making a return in this movie.

According to Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube, someone who allegedly worked on the sound stage of Jurassic World 2 has e-mailed and confirmed that Sam Neill had arrived on the set in a blacked out BMW. He himself has said that you should take this info with a grain of salt, but seeing as he was the one who figured out that Matt Damon had a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok, an appearance from Neill could be entirely feasible.

With Ian Malcolm being asked to comment on the fate of the dinosaurs and the park, I would imagine that they would also bring someone else who was intimately involved with the incidents from the first film. Next thing you know, we'll be hearing Laura Dern has a cameo as well.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

It's been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.

When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who's still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes out June 22, 2018.
