Princess Diana is one of the most loved members of the royal family. When she passed away in 19997 following a tragic car crash, it seemed as though the entire world died with her. It’s been 25 years since the public last saw the mom of two in the flesh, but she continues to make headlines until today.

Princess Diana Allegedly Hid The Fact That John Spencer Isn’t Her Biological Dad

According to Radar Online, Princess Diana may have died whilst carrying a huge secret about who she really was. Royal fans know that she is the daughter of Frances Shand Kydd and John Spencer. However, there are ongoing speculations that Spencer may not have been her father after all.

There are claims that Princess Diana’s mom had an affair with billionaire businessman Sir James Goldsmith years ago.

“Her husband [John] was drinking heavily and was beastly to her. She knew James Goldsmith and the rumor was they had a brief fling. At that time, it’s fair to say that Goldsmith was a sex maniac,” a source said.

Princess Diana Resembled Sir James Goldsmith’s Daughter Jemima

The speculations heightened after some people pointed out that Princess Diana resembled Goldsmith’s daughter, Jemima. The two women had a huge age gap between them but they were just like sisters.

Jemima’s mom, Lady Annabel was also one of the last people who spoke with Princess Diana before she passed away. During their conversation, Princess Diana told Lady Annabel that her relationship with Hasnat Khan was over and that she was very happy and spoiled by Dodi Al Fayed

The connections between the two families may seem suspicious to some that is why rumors that Princess Diana was an illegitimate child have not died even after she passed away.

“The story that Diana’s real father was business mogul Sir James Goldsmith has been on the Royal grapevine for years,” a source said.

Princess Diana Had A Complicated Relationship With Her Mom Frances Shand Kydd

And the fact that Princess Diana never really became close with Kydd also seemingly added fuel to the fire.

According to Goal Cast, the mother and daughter were estranged for years and Kydd disliked it when people compared her to King Charles’s ex-wife.

“I think the pressure of it all was overwhelming and finally, impossible for Peter. They didn’t want him. They wanted me. I became Diana’s mum, and not his wife,” she said following her split from Peter Shand Kydd.

According to former royal butler Paul Burrell, Princess Diana also broke down in tears after a hate-filled conversation with her mother.

“What I heard was a torrent of abuse, swearing, and upsetting innuendo towards the Princess and towards the male company she was keeping. How prophetic and sad those words were,” he told Mirror UK.

But during the latter years of her life, Kydd decided to let go of her grudges and she passed away seven years after Princess Diana’s demise.
