According to reports, the Prince of Wales was the one who invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to join them in mourning Queen Elizabeth’s passing.
“For all their differences in the past, many of which still linger, his was what The Queen would have wanted and William knew very well that it was no time to be holding onto grudges or distancing himself from his brother. They need to put on a united front and pay their respects for her sake as well as the monarchy as a whole and the people she served so tirelessly during her reign,” the source said.
Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry, and Markle were also photographed when they paid their final respects to the queen at Westminster Abbey. It was evident that the couples were heartbroken due to the former monarch’s demise.
Prince William and Prince Harry also stood side by side behind the queen’s coffin as it made its way through the streets of London. According to CNN, the brothers showed unity during their outing.
