After the long wait, finally, Spider-Man 3: No Way Home dropped its first trailer and a lot are excited as to what is in store for everyone's favorite wall-crawler considering that the teaser has given a lot of characters involved in the upcoming film. One of which, many fans believe, has a sequence wherein Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, appeared. Is he really there?

Spider-Man 3: No Way Home really made sure that the trailer would be worth the wait as tons of familiar characters and faces seemed to be confirmed for a comeback in the upcoming movie especially with the various villains that made an appearance or showed something of significance to determine it was them. Two of the most notable people to arrive would surely be Doctor Strange and Doctor Ock.

However, there is an extremely short scene where Peter Parker is in handcuffs at a police station where he is seemingly talking to a lawyer defending himself saying that he did not kill Mysterio and that it is the drones. Many believe that the lawyer of Peter is none other than Matt Murdock, also known as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil.

Is Matt Murdock in Spider-Man 3: No Way Home Trailer?

Fans believe that the lawyer helping out Peter is none other than the badass lawyer, the devil in disguise, hailing from Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil. In the short sequence, there when Peter is trying to clarify at the police station that he did not kill Mysterio, we see a lawyer approach him to his side and to aide him in his concern.

In the same sequence, a glimpse on the side of the profiling room, a silhouette of a man outside is seen wearing a white shirt and a black tie. His face cannot be seen as the focus is Peter inside the booth and light was not enough to illuminate his face, making a lot of fans believe that such is Matt Murdock.

It would be logical to have Murdock as Peter's lawyer though. He is wanted for murder, outed as a superhero, and it would be fitting for him to handle such a case given that his perspective in both the legal and superhero aspect could come in handy.

Charlie Cox has been long rumored to enter the MCU and one of the candidate films where he is expected to arrive in would be Spider-Man 3: No Way Home. If he is indeed the lawyer of Peter, it would be a pleasure for the fans waiting for Daredevil's debut in the MCU. Still, while there is no certainty, we are all left to the mercy of theories.

Spider-Man 3: No Way Home is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 17, 2021.
