The Made in Abyss Manga is still ongoing as of this writing, with the most recent update being Chapter 63.

Made in Abyss has been serialized online on Takeshobo's digital publication, Web Comic Gamma, since 2012. It has ten tankobon volumes and is still going strong, with no signs of stopping anytime soon.

The manga was created and illustrated by Akihito Tsukushi. Because of its themes, the series is frequently subjected to controversies surrounding the sexual exploitation of children in its premise. In any case, this is part of the series' dark fantasy genre.

Along with the release of the second season of Made in Abyss, a live-action film directed by Kevin Mcmullin will be released. He's previously worked on movies like First Prize and Low Tide.

The Made in Abyss Manga is not going away anytime soon. Despite running for nearly a decade, the manga is unlikely to end anytime soon, based on the series' present course and the manga's release schedule.

It's worth noting that, according to Akihito Tsukushi's interview at an anime convention in 2019, Made in Abyss has completed more than half of the overall story so far. If things continue as they are, Made in Abyss will most likely be around for a long time.

In terms of a consistent release schedule, Akihito Tsukushi does not have one. In fact, unlike other manga artists, he rarely releases chapters. Akihito Tsukushi publishes a single volume of Made in Abyss every year, which is only 160 pages long.

Tsukushi usually releases new chapters on the 10th, 20th, or 30th of the month every three months. However, don't expect much of a shift in his release schedule.
