Does Riko Return to the Surface in Made in Abyss?
Riko has yet to return to the surface of the abyss in Made in Abyss at the time of writing.
Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen anytime soon because Riko is desperate to find and save her mother, even if it takes going to the abyss's depths.
After the events of "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul," Riko is finally prepared for her final dive. The final dive is a magnificent achievement of a cave raider that only the greatest can perform.
Riko promises to get past the fifth and sixth tiers with only one aim in mind, despite not being a white whistle herself.
She wishes to see her mother, the white whistle, and Lord of Annihilation, Lyza, as well as learn everything there is to know about the Abyss and the Netherworld, including Reg's true identity.
She wants to know more about Reg's creation, whether or not he is an Aubade. An aubade is a valuable netherworld artifact. Based on the notes supplied by her mother, Riko believes Reg is an Aubade.
Riko, on the other hand, will be cursed if she ever desires to return to the surface. Because of her young body and weak disposition, she is neither immune nor powerful enough to resist the curse.
Despite being a stillborn who was resurrected after being placed in the Curse-Warding Artifact Box, she is a normal child.
Does Riko Make it to the Bottom of the Abyss in Made in Abyss?
Riko had not yet reached the bottom of the abyss in Made in Abyss at the time of writing.
Riko's main goal is to reach the bottom of the abyss. Despite some resistance from her friends and some criticism from others, Riko continues to follow Reg.
After all, Lyza is her only living relative on the planet. Riko's mother is a legend among cave raiders and white whistles alike, so finding her is difficult.
Diving into the depths of the abyss at such a young age is termed suicide. As soon as one decides to descend, one will no longer be able to see the light of morning.
Riko is on her way to the last dive for the time being. After a few hurdles in the road, she's one step closer to her mother. Reg and Riko could only hope to take their game to the next level as more beasts and white whistles appeared in their path.
Does Riko Die in Made in Abyss?
In Made in Abyss, Riko died as a newborn child. She was also on the verge of death in Season 1 when she was poisoned and affected by the curse of the descent into the Abyss' fourth layer.
Surprisingly, Riko was stillborn. Ozen placed Riko in the Curse-Warding Artifact Box because Lyza was so depressed. Riko was resurrected only to be carried to the surface of the City of the Greater Pit by Ozen and Lyza.
Riko's eyesight deteriorates as a result of the descent, which explains why she wears glasses.
Meanwhile, in Season 1 of Made in Abyss, Riko was on the verge of death due to poison and bleeding. Riko recovered and survived with an injured arm thanks to Nanachi. She was also on the verge of losing her arm after telling Reg to decapitate it.
Despite some of these difficulties, Riko survives with Reg and Nanachi. It is a matter of life and death, and the three of them decide to overcome adversity and achieve their individual life goals.
