Is Kang The Conqueror Really Dead in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania?

Yes, Kang The Conqueror is dead as per the Council of Kangs, themselves, but that does not mean that everyone would see the last of Kang The Conqueror in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania because clearly, the movie is just another warm-up for Jonathan Majors' villain.

In the brutal fight between Scott Lang and Kang the Conqueror, Scott destroys the power core of the villain through putting different kinds of Pym particles to it and just as Kang tried to escape by going to Earth, Hope returns for Scott and lands the blows on Kang that would get him to end up sucked into the core.

That ultimately kills Kang the Conqueror, OR SO THEY THOUGHT, but the movie is just the start of the path of Kang being a villain. See, He Who Remains warned Loki about a variant of his that should not even come to existence for being so vile, he could lead everyone to the end of the whole multiverse.

The post-credits scene of Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania mentions that Kang the Conqueror is dead as Immortus, Rama-Tut, and Scarlet Centurion talked about what happened and the Council of Kangs calls upon all of their kind from different timelines and realities to unveil their plans.

Except one, possibly, which is seen in the end-credits scene, Victor Timely, who Loki and Mobius would meet in the 19th century. The reason why Victor isn't with the council remains a question and it is up to Loki Season 2 to unveil that narrative.

A challenge, truly, but Jonathan Majors, so far, plays all of his variants. While Kang the Conqueror is dead and the Quantum Realm is now back to its true inhabitants, Kang is just starting to form his sinister plans for the future.

Kang The Conqueror Is Alive: Avengers: Secret Wars Theory

There is no question that Jonathan Majors will be in the upcoming film this May 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty because the title of the movie literally has his name on it but this theory is actually for Avengers: Secret Wars: Kang the Conqueror may be alive and the center of the finale of the Multiverse Saga.

Hear us out. Kang the Conqueror did not completely die. In the MCU, it has always been a rule: no body, not dead. While they are already in the Quantum Realm, Kang may still have a chance at living -- a prison within Quantum Realm, his own power core, or possible even reaching the Quantum Nexus.

See, Kang's power core is one that can bring a person to any point in space or time and while it may have already been destroyed, Kang did not turn into ashes or something else, but rather, the core sucked him up. This could lead to the possibility that he may still be alive, just trapped somewhere in time.

After all, he's the Kang variant that the others are so afraid of, they had to exile him in the Quantum Realm. With such a high regard on Kang the Conqueror, his end in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania seems to anti-climactic and there's that lingering feeling that he's going to be back in the MCU.
