There is little doubt that people were blown away by Ke Huy Quan's return in Everything Everywhere All At Once and not surprisingly, even his Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom co-star is thrilled about the comeback. Harrison Ford just shared his heartwarming reaction to Quan's impressive return, and he's even rooting for Quan to win an Oscar.
Harrison Ford spoke to Uproxx where he discussed his recent reunion with Ke Huy Quan at D23. "Yeah, it was great to see him," he said. Ford then admitted that he was truly impressed after watching Everything Everywhere All At Once.
"I mean… I've had the opportunity to see the film. He is really terrific in his movie. And I'm so glad to see him… and what he has become," he added. "I'm so happy for him. He's such a happy guy, too."
It's clear that Harrison Ford really loved Ke Huy Quan's performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once. When it is mentioned that his former co-star could be nominated in the upcoming Academy Awards, Ford enthusiastically expressed his support.
"And well deserved! Well deserved," he said.
We're not surprised that Harrison Ford is loving all the attention that Ke Huy Quan is getting for the comeback. After all, he's seen just what Quan is capable of and is clearly happy that Short Round is finally getting the praise he deserves.
Ke Huy Quan recently won the Outstanding Supporting Performance at the 2022 Gotham Awards where he gave an emotional speech. "Wow, this is incredible," Quan had said. "This time last year, all I was hoping for was just a job. And just when I think that it can't get any better, it does. What an incredible honor."
Quan recently won the 2022 New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor, and received his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.
