Everything Everywhere All At Once Star Ke Huy Quan Gives Emotional Speech For Gotham Awards Win

Everything Everywhere All At Once was the big winner at the 2022 Gotham Awards as the film took home two major awards at the ceremony. One of the awards just happened to be for Ke Huy Quan, who gave an emotional speech as he accepted the award.

Ke Huy Quan took the stage at the Gotham Awards 2022 when it was confirmed he bested nine other nominees for the Outstanding Supporting Performance award (via Variety). Quan was clearly moved by the win, tearing up as he accepted the award.

"Wow, this is incredible," Quan said. "This time last year, all I was hoping for was just a job. And just when I think that it can't get any better, it does. What an incredible honor."

He went on to express his gratitude to everyone who supported him in his portrayal of the many versions of Waymond Wong in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

"Thank you so so so much. Thank you to everyone at A24 who helped us make and market this movie. Thank you Layline Entertainment. Thank you AGBO, and Joe and Anthony Russo," Quan said.

"There is no Waymond without Evelyn. So thank you so much to Michelle Yeoh for sharing this amazing journey with me," he continued. "Thank you to Jamie Lee Curtis for helping me find my confidence when I needed it the most. Of course, thank you to the entire cast and crew. I feel so lucky to be a part of this family."

Everything Everywhere All At Once also took home the Best Feature award. Ke Huy Quan's co-star Michelle Yeoh was also nominated for the Outstanding Lead Performance award but lost out to Danielle Deadwyler in Till.

Ke Huy Quan is set to appear in Loki Season 2.
